padToys, Toys, Toys!

Toys are important part of a healthy bird. They need mental stimulation and environmental enrichment. We recommend providing a new or different toy in the cage every month. There should be a minimum of three toys in the cage at all times.

We believe in mental stimulation for all birds. So, we offer LOTS of toys. We even dedicated one entire room just to toys. We have hundreds. You can get any of them on our site, too!

Birdie Tip: Keep a toy box for your birds. When you remove an old toy from the cage keep it in this box to use for parts or to recycle through the cage later in the future.

Bird Brain Information: The syrinx, which is the 'voice box' of birds, is poorly developed in the ostrich. Therefore, their vocalization ability is greatly reduced.
