Fresh water is a very important nutrient that is often overlooked. Clean water is vital for a long healthy life. We use and recommend water bottles because they are more sanitary and provide clean, fresh water at all times to our birds. Bacterial counts double every 2 hours. If you are unable to change your bird's water and disinfect the bowl several times daily, you too should be providing your bird with a water bottle. Birds are very easy to switch to a water bottle.
